Biography:
Hello! My name is Lindsey Storm, and I am a 4th grade teacher here at Kohl Elementary School. I love being part of the Kohl community, and you can often find me helping out with Colt TV, where students get to explore creativity, communication, and leadership .
This is my 10th year teaching. Before becoming a classroom teacher, I worked with students and learners in a variety of unique environments—as a zookeeper, outdoor educator, volleyball coach, trail crew manager, and executive functioning coach. I also had the opportunity to teach abroad in Colombia after earning a Masters of Education in 2017. This experience strengthened my passion for global learning and cultural exchange. For the past 10 years, I have worked for a local community service/ adventure-based travel group that focuses on connecting teens and young adults with hands-on volunteering & cultural immersion experiences around the world.
When I’m not in the classroom, you’ll usually find me outside. Depending on the season, I love mountain biking, camping, snowboarding, seeing live music, gardening and enjoying everything else Colorado has to offer.
I am excited for another year of learning, and growing together!

Biography:
This year marks Nichole's 30th year in education. She started her career in upstate New York where she grew up. After 7 years of teaching elementary school, undergrad and graduate courses, she decided to move to Colorado with her husband. Here in Colorado, she taught at Eldorado K-8 and Aspen Creek P-8. At both schools, Nichole taught elementary and middle school. Nichole often states that she has “never worked a day in her life” because teaching is her passion. She knew from an early age that teaching was what she wanted to do and has loved every minute of being a teacher, even during the pandemic!
Nichole considers herself a continual learner. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education K-6, from Cortland College in NY. Her Master's degree in Reading Instruction K-12, with a Specialization in Special Education from Elmira College in NY. She also has earned over 45 credits in Brain Based Learning Instruction throughout her career.
