Hello! My name is Fraylan Gonzales. This will be my twenty-seventh year teaching at Kohl. I am very fortunate to be working in a wonderful community and at a great school.
I was born and raised in Colorado. I received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Northern Colorado. I have a Master's Degree from the University of Colorado. GO BUFFS!!!
I have two terrific kids. Both of my kids play competitive soccer, so I spend a lot of time at the soccer fields. I have an amazing wife, who is a teacher in Adams 12 School District. In my spare time I enjoy golfing, fishing, watching CU football, and hanging out with my family. I am looking forward to the school year.
Hello, my name is Julie Kochevar. The 2020-21 school year will mark my 30th year of teaching!! I have been thankful to call Kohl home for the past 16 years. I know Kohl is the absolute best place to learn and grow thanks to the amazing families, teachers and staff in our building. This is a great neighborhood school!!
I am a Colorado native, born in Julesburg, and have lived in Broomfield since I was a baby. I attended Emerald Elementary, Broomfield Junior High and Broomfield High School. I have a BA in Elementary Education from UNC, Greeley, MA in Literacy from Lesley University, and an license endorsement in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education from CU Boulder.
My husband, David and I, have four children, Abigail (26), Sarah (23), Josh (20) and Rachel (18), all of whom are former Kohl Colts. (My husband even went to Kohl in Kindergarten!) In my spare time I love spending time with my family and friends, reading, walking my two dogs, Thor and Loki, and traveling when I can. My favorite trip was a cruise to the Mediterranean for our 25th anniversary a few years ago. I hope to do more of that in the future.
Here’s to a great school year!!
