Biography:
Hello! I began teaching in 2016, and joined the Kohl community in 2022. I completed my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education at the University of Illinois. Once I graduated, I moved to Maryland and taught just outside Washington D.C. During this time I completed my Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction focusing on Teacher Leadership at Concordia University before moving to Colorado. In my free time I enjoy the outdoors and adventure, including climbing, skiing, hiking, photography, backpacking, horseback riding, trail running, and camping. I also value time spent reading, cooking, and visiting with family.

Hello Colt Community!
This is my first year at Kohl and I am thrilled to be here! I am a BVSD graduate and Colorado native. I have been a teacher in BVSD for over ten years and love teaching second grade! I think being a teacher is the best job in the world because you get to be a part of the discovery of the future through the eyes and experiences of little ones. Helping students grow and develop into themselves is so fufilling and exciting everyday.
In my free time, I love spending time with my husband, Paul and family. I enjoy reading, listening to podcasts, cooking, and traveling.
