Hello COLT Community! My name is Racheal Edmonds and I have been a teacher for 30 years! I have taught grades K-3 and I am currently teaching First Grade here at Kohl. I love southern food, reading books, and spending time with friends and family. Teaching is the best job in the world because you get to help kids see what is possible and then help them achieve their goals and dreams.

I am a new Elementary Teacher here at Kohl this year. I have been a teacher for several years but Kohl First Grade is my favorite! I love reading and writing and combining math, science and social studies with it when possible. I believe the students I facilitate to learn these subjects will go forward to make an impact on our future. Keeping this goal in mind helps make learning for our students super relevant every day.
